The ideal candidate for the Loan Control Analyst will have the skills and experience necessary to:
· Be responsible for interpreting and reviewing loans to determine compliance with company credit policy and lending standard operating procedures.
· Make decisions and recommendations for approvals of loan under either bank or lending standards based on reviews.
· Review and screen loan files for compliance and problems.
· Prepare and analyze loan packages with respect to program guidelines and performs applicable due diligence to assure compliance.
· Recommend procedures to maintain quality control aspects of lending practices.
· Monitor and follow up on collateral documentation.
· Review files subject to audits and remediate exceptions prior to audits.
· Track and maintain audit exception reports.
· Perform post-closing audit and review of loan files to assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field and 2+ years of experience with lending, familiarity with credit/compliance policies and procedures, loan analysis or other directly related experience.
· Banking or Finance experience a plus.
· Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of lending, loan documentation, credit policies, lending regulations, requirements and audit/review procedures.
· Must have strong analysis, problem resolution and auditing skills.
· Requires excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to work with lending staff to resolve review issues.
· Exceptional communication and customer relations skills.
· Knowledge of PC software to include Microsoft Office or similar software.
· May lead or train other analysts.

· Salary Range – Depending on experience
o $55,000-$75,000
