The Banker Development Program at California Bank & Trust is a credit and business development training program designed to grow well-rounded banking professionals with strong analytical and relationship management skills. The program provides challenging training and career guidance that will prepare the participants for various roles at California Bank & Trust. Applicants should have a strong interest in communication, business development, and sales.

We are currently recruiting for our Irvine Banker Development Program class that will be starting in June 2024.
To be considered for the June 2024 Irvine Banker Development Program class, please apply no later than Friday, Oct. 13, 2023. We will be reaching out for interviews throughout September and the first half of October. Our second-round interview days will be during the last week of October.
Internships at California Bank & Trust
You bring the talent; we bring the opportunity.
Every year, we hire junior/senior level undergraduate and graduate students for our summer internship program. Summer Internships begin in May/June and conclude in mid-August to mid-September, depending on the intern’s academic schedule. All internships are full-time, paid opportunities located throughout California.
Applications are accepted from mid-February to mid-March and the available intern positions close as they are filled, so be sure to apply early to be considered.
Our internship program gives students the opportunity to experience hands-on work as a member of one or many of our core departments. Interns also enjoy networking opportunities together and presentations from company leaders. From special projects to collaborating with executives, students will leave feeling energized, knowledgeable and excited about the banking industry.
