Zions Bancorp has just opened a hybrid or fully remote opportunity for a Wealth Management Marketing Officer. This role will be an internal marketing relationship manager to our Wealth Management group including brokerage, advisory, personal trust, and planning services. This is a rare opportunity to join an elite team of Marketing professionals, and to collaborate with business leaders throughout the organization.



Key areas of focus include:


Marketing Development and Execution:  Possess strategic and technical skills to drive clarity and solutions in complex program and creative scenarios across a range of channels and marketing use cases. Candidate should have a consistent record of accomplishment of developing, reviewing, and coordinating   new and updated marketing assets. A keen focus on the voice-of-the-client or prospect and voice-of-the-field insights, desired business outcomes, the end user experience, plus data and insights to achieve successful product and client/prospect experience launches with the best user experience possible.  Capable listener able to take partially formed concepts and develop high impact marketing deliverables across multiple media platforms.

Governance & Optimization: A detail-oriented candidate who's able to manage multiple work streams while also understanding and communicating ‘big-picture’ strategy. Must be forward thinking and communicative with partners, team members, affiliates to identify projects, enhancements and issues and can identify effective resolutions and process adaptations to increase efficiencies and adoption.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills which leads to innovative ideas and drives efficient and effective management of the marketing program.  Someone who can collaborate with leadership to understand business line needs and then develop innovative and impactful marketing strategies and deliverables.

Collaboration: Thrive in cross-functional teams of diverse experts – product and client experience, agency, content strategists, data and analytics, marketers and others and successfully build significant connections across all parties to deliver results.  Someone capable of unifying marketing messages across Wealth Managements business lines to create a seamless marketing solution for clients and prospects of Wealth Management.


What successful candidates will bring to the table:


  • Strong business background, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Financial industry experience supporting sales teams is required. Wealth Management, Personal Trust, and or High Net Worth experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing communications and/or marketing program management experience required.
  • Ability to develop, lead, prioritize and execute client-focused wealth management brand and experience
  • Data driven and analytical focus; ability to drive new thinking and hypothesis, synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, identify feasible options, and evaluate strategic trade-offs.
  • Develop and oversee content marketing strategy using blogs, webinars, video, etc. to promote and increase awareness of Wealth Management
  • Bolster social media presence and drive engagement with clients, prospects, and internal partners.
  • Experienced with all aspects of a user-centered design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, conducting usability tests, and creating annotated design specifications.
  • Strong self-management skills, comfortable with substantial responsibility, working directly with our partners, and capable of leading project schedules.
  • A big picture thinker with the creativity to develop materials from scratch but also the discipline to see projects through to completion
  • Highly adaptable, entrepreneur mentality, standout colleague with superb verbal and written communication with the ability to clearly and concisely present options to problems. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, ability to build trust and be   team player.
  • Positive demeanor and work ethic. Results orientated.
  • Experience in navigating large and sophisticated organizations, including gaining access to key customers, partners, and executives, with a proven record of accomplishment of attaining significant alignment of business needs and priorities.
  • Develop and oversee client and prospect marketing campaigns that consist of multiple, coordinated assets to be launched strategically.
