Our expanding marketing team is building something transformative: a dynamic, in-house Creative Studio that will redefine how we tell our story and connect with customers. Under the leadership of our new CMO, we’re creating a modern, collaborative hub for bold ideas and breakthrough campaigns that elevate a bank known for exceptional service and deep community roots. This is your opportunity to lead creative for one of the fastest-growing areas of marketing—affiliate partnerships—and set a new standard for performance-driven design.

 

Our Graphic Designers collaborate within our creative studio to produce strategic marketing campaigns across eight bank brands. In this role, you’ll manage brand guidelines and deliver design solutions from concept to completion for internal and external audiences. You’ll create conversion-focused work that drives results, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to balance brand integrity with business goals.

 

A key responsibility will be elevating the brands, fostering a culture of excellence, and delivering work that strengthens customer trust and positions Zions Bancorporation and its affiliates as leaders in financial marketing.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and execute design projects from concept through production for print and digital platforms.
  • Implement strategic design principles including typography, layout, color, and visual communication.
  • Manage and maintain brand guidelines ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal clients, design teams, and external agencies to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, meeting critical deadlines.
  • Develop strong relationships across departments and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Provide expert input on prepress, print production, and digital artwork standards.
  • Contribute to organizational goals and objectives through creative problem-solving and innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or a related field, and 5+ years work experience in Graphic Design (a combination of education and experience may meet requirements) 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma) and other design applications.
  • Solid proficiency in artwork production for print and digital displays.
  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent supervisory and cost-control skills.
  • Expert-level design and production knowledge (graphic services, prepress, print production).
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently with significant latitude in determining objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90,000 - $120,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.

Please note: This is an in-office position that will sit at a local corporate hub 5 days a week. This is not a hybrid role.
