We are looking for a seasoned Business Performance Analyst in San Diego, CAThis role provides management reporting and analysis of portfolio growth and sales activities for assigned business groups.  

  

Job Requirements: 

  • Creates and analyzes financial statements and other financial documents or data to aide management in decision making process. 
  • Responsible to complete analysis in one or more of the following areas: cost analysis, profitability, pricing, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling or reconciliation utilizing related analytical tools and procedures.  
  • Responsible for financial analysis of business transactions and planning cycle activities.
  • Prepares short and long term financial planning reports of key performance indicators, ad hoc analysis reports, economic valuations and cost benefit information.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Job Qualifications:  

 

  • Requires a Bachelor's in accounting, finance or related field and 4+ years experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgets or other directly related experienceA combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial analysis practices, principles, applications and analysis methods.  
  • Must have strong analytical skills.  
  • Ability to develop financial models.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
  • Ability to work in a heavily deadline oriented environment. 
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues.  
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.  
  • Works effectively with co-workers and both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 - $102,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
