We are looking for a seasoned Business Performance Analyst in San Diego, CA. This role provides management reporting and analysis of portfolio growth and sales activities for assigned business groups.
Job Requirements:
- Creates and analyzes financial statements and other financial documents or data to aide management in decision making process.
- Responsible to complete analysis in one or more of the following areas: cost analysis, profitability, pricing, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling or reconciliation utilizing related analytical tools and procedures.
- Responsible for financial analysis of business transactions and planning cycle activities.
- Prepares short and long term financial planning reports of key performance indicators, ad hoc analysis reports, economic valuations and cost benefit information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's in accounting, finance or related field and 4+ years experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgets or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
- Extensive knowledge of financial analysis practices, principles, applications and analysis methods.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Ability to develop financial models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
- Ability to work in a heavily deadline oriented environment.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to identify, research, coordinate and resolve issues.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Works effectively with co-workers and both internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 - $102,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
