The Marketing Governance Director will be responsible for the development and coordination of the organization’s compliance for a functional area or division or geographic region. This role will be responsible for coordinating the review and interpretation of new and pending laws and regulations, which potentially affect the company's practices.
Essential Functions:

Creates strategies for mitigating risk with the development or revision of policies, procedures, contracts and agreements to ensure compliance. Create or authorize changes to policies and procedures as needed.

Ensure the products and services meet all applicable laws and regulations.

Review modifications initiated by other departments or functional areas. Work with management and staff in organization affected by alterations in business practices to ensure understanding and implementation of new policies and procedures.

Act as primary Marketing point of contact for 2nd and 3rd line partners

Design and ensure delivery of compliance training to operational employees. Ensure coordination and communication inside the company.

Create and implement programs of compliance monitoring and evaluate the results.

Prepare management reporting and work with management to resolve issues and address deficiencies, provide compliance risk expertise to the company's projects and initiatives.

Manage and/or coordinate examinations by internal and external findings, root cause analysis and solutions.

Monitor or prepare responses to customer complaints.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of compliance policies, procedures, regulations and laws or other. directly related experience, managerial experience required. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Experience in leading and managing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Capacity to drive innovation in marketing practices and stay updated with the latest industry trends.

Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to ensure marketing practices comply with legal standards.

Ability to develop and implement governance frameworks and strategies that align with the company's goals

Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.

Strong project management skills to oversee marketing campaigns and initiatives from conception to completion.

Ability to analyze marketing data to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey marketing messages and collaborate with stakeholders.
This is an in-office position (hybrid) with some travel required across our footprint.
Pay Range: $180,000 - $250,000 and will align with experience and other job-related factors.
