We are looking for a Director of Specialty Deposits in Irvine, CA. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the bank’s Specialty Deposits strategy, operations, and team while supporting growth, compliance, and complex customer needs.
Essential Functions:
- Directs and coordinates the sales, marketing and operational activities of Specialty Deposits (fiduciary banking serving escrow companies, title companies, 1031 Exchange accommodators, property management firms, community associations and other similar businesses) to customers and prospects.
- Provides bank-wide leadership and support for the development of new business and sales strategies.
- Provides guidance and advice to officers promoting and structuring specialty deposits throughout the bank.
- Identifies and refers business lending opportunities.
- Develops, implements and revises marketing and operational policies and procedures.
- Provides leadership and direction in solving complex customer and regulatory challenges.
- Stays current on tax legislation and other requirements related to specialty deposits.
- Responsible for hires, transfers, terminations, and performance evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or other related field and 10+ years of banking, senior level managerial, business development, sales strategy, specialty deposits or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Requires an in-depth knowledge of business development, sales, banking and bank products.
- Expert knowledge of fiduciary banking serving escrow companies, title companies, 1031 Exchange accommodators, property management firms, community associations and other similar businesses.
- Must have exceptional communication, customer service, negotiation and management skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Ability to work with various bank departments, management and customers to build strong relationships.
- Requires a considerable working knowledge of other related fields and the ability to apply that information to current role.
- Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts.
- Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $250,000 - $300,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
