We are seeking a Branch Service Manager to join California Bank & Trust in Rancho San Diego, CA. The Branch Service Manager plays a key role in directing daily branch operations, service standards, and sales functions while coaching staff to achieve strategic branch goals.
Responsibilities:
- Directs daily branch operations, service standards, and sales functions to achieve strategic branch goals in coordination with leadership.
- Leads, coaches, and mentors branch staff while managing key personnel actions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Drives sales performance by providing leadership, training, and personal contribution toward the referral and sale of bank products and services.
- Resolves complex client complaints, inquiries, and service issues to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Oversees operational compliance, adhering to bank policies, legal regulations, safety protocols, and security procedures while preparing the branch for audits.
- Manages financial controls and risk by executing transaction approvals, overrides, and conducting investigations into operational issues or potential fraud.
- Collaborates with key business partners to achieve sales and service objectives while maintaining the operational integrity of the branch.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the banking industry, retail operations, products, regulations, and lending procedures.
- Exhibits strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage, train, and guide a team effectively.
- Possesses outstanding relationship building, client service, and sales skills.
- Displays excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficient in standard computer software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to work on-site at the assigned branch or business center office.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $64,480 - $77,550 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
