We are seeking a Branch Service Manager to join California Bank & Trust in Palm Springs. The Branch Service Manager plays a key role in directing daily branch operations, service standards, and sales functions while coaching staff to achieve strategic branch goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manages daily branch operations, service standards, and compliance functions to achieve strategic goals, ensuring strict adherence to safety, security, and legal standards while utilizing authorized discretion for transaction approvals and overrides.
- Directs, schedules, and assigns work to branch staff, actively participating in interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, and promotional decisions while administering disciplinary actions and resolving grievances.
- Provides sales and service leadership through personal production, strategic goal planning, and training, collaborating with key partners to drive referrals and maintain operational integrity.
- Resolves complex client complaints, inquiries, and disputes to uphold high-quality relationships, processing cash transactions and performing service duties as needed.
- Perform all duties on-site at the assigned branch or business center office.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma and 4+ years experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Demonstrates considerable working knowledge of banking industry processes, procedures, regulations, products, and lending operations.
- Possesses strong customer service, relationship building, sales, and team management skills.
- Exhibits proven experience resolving complex client concerns and operational problems effectively.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with people in various job capacities.
- Utilizes proficiency in standard computer programs, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Maintains high-quality work standards and possesses the ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,795 - $88,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
